(sorry if I posted this wrong..I really couldn't find where to post it at..)
When I read it I did find a lot of things that were most different from Christian Martyrs. One being pierceing on the third day of Sundance. This seemed very original for the Sundance and I could not find something similar to that in the Christian part. But sacraficing made me think back to the Bible when Abraham had to sacrifice his son but ended up sacraficing a goat. This is alike in the Sundance where questors sacrafice a turkery, dog, or other wild animal.
